About Your Instructor
Ruthie M. Giles, bCRE-PROA thought leader in the field of prospect management, Ruthie has worked in prospect research and prospect management since 2000. She has spoken on the topic of prospect management at APRA, CASE, and NEDRA conferences, as well as to regional nonprofit professional groups.
Ruthie has held positions at Westfield State University, Amherst College, Mount Holyoke College, Harold Grinspoon Foundation, The Loomis Chaffee School, and the Williston Northampton School. She is a member of the New England Development Research Association’s board of directors. - You will be responsible to arrange your own transportation, hotel accommodations and dinner.

This will be a hands-on workshop. During the two days, you will have many opportunities to practice what you've learned with your own organizational data. Please bring your laptop, a copy of your organizational chart, and access to your organizational data.
During the workshop, we will be doing exercises that can be used on your own prospect lists and assignments. We will contact in plenty of time before the class with data lists suggestions to complete your hands-on exercises.

What if my organization will not allow me to bring my data?
Don't worry. You'll still be able to complete the practice exercises. Staupell has example cases you can learn from.
IS THERE A GUIDEBOOK THAT I CAN BRING HOME?
Yes. Included in your workshop fee is a workbook with plenty of room for notes.
WILL THIS TRAINING BE RECORDED?
No. Because of the hands-on nature of the lessons, you need to be in class for the full benefits of the exercises. However, you will go home with a workbook and examples done on your own laptop for future reference.
